Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) works in both developed and developing countries for licking hunger. This UN organization opens few job vacancy for the Bangladeshi Nationals as followings. The opening job positions are National Consultant Forest Inventory (NFI) Institutionalization and Call for Roster of Consultants.

The required educational qualification, job experience and salary are given below.
National Consultant Forest Inventory (NFI) Institutionalization: The Ideal candidates should have Masters degree in Forestry or equivalent from a reputed university. He/She also have at least 10 (ten) years of practical experience in forest management, forest assessment/inventory, project management in Bangladesh. He/She also should have vast knowledge in forestry and project management/administration.
Call for Roster of Consultants: The Ideal candidates should have Graduation degree in Forestry, Ecology, Management, Natural Resource, Social Forestry, applied GIS and Remote Sensing or its equivalent from a reputed university. He/She must have clear concept about the followings.

  • Forestry Management and Conservation, Remote Sensing
  • Geographic Information Systems
  • Forest Inventory
  • Survey and Mapping
  • Land Use
  • Biomass and Carbon Stock Estimations
  • Socio-Economic Influence on Forest Utilization
  • Community Forestry
  • Data Analysis/Data Management and Forestry Statistics

His/her job location is Dhaka.
The nature of job is 03 (three) months initially with possible extension.
