East Delta University Bangladesh is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual for the different position for the Bangladeshi Nationals.
Position:
  1. Registrar
  2. Deputy Registrar
  3. Assistant Registrar
Educational Qualification:
  1. Master's degree holder (North American degree holders will get preference) with no 3rd division in career. PhD Degree in any subject will get additional advantage.
  2. Master's degree strongly preferred (North American degree holders will get preference) with no 3rd class. PhD Degree in any subject will avail additional advantage.
  3.  Master's degree strongly preferred (North American degree holders will get preference) with no 3rd class.
Experience:
  1. Minimum 10 years management experience along with 5 years as head of administration or equivalent. or At least 8 years of experience as Assistant professor or 6 years of service as Associate Professor along with experience in Educational Administration. or Comparable experience of 10 years in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education. or 10 years of administrative experience of which 4 years as Deputy Finance Officer/Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
  2.  Minimum 6 years management experience along with 3 years of service as head of administration in a growth environment or equivalent combination of education and experience. or at least 4 years of experience as Assistant professor or 2 years of service as Associate Professor along with experience in Educational Administration. or Comparable experience of 6 years in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education. or 6 years of administrative experience of which 4 years as Assistant Finance Officer/Assistant Registrar or an equivalent post.
  3. Minimum 3 years management experience in a growth environment or equivalent combination of education and experience. or 3 years of administrative experience of which 1 year as Finance Officer/Senior Executive or an equivalent post.
Additional Qualifications:
  1. Ability to analyze projects and proposals, develop policies and stay current with emerging technologies, ability to shift quickly between several tasks without loss of continuity while balancing priorities to accomplish assigned tasks within the required time frame. Candidates having experience of a leading private university, conversant with rules and regulations, Act, statutes, policies and confident to run the university's administration independently will be given preference.
  2. Experience in handling administration/academic/University Grants Commission/legal/financial and establishment matters in a technologically advanced working environment. Experience in university administration or familiarity with the working of university bodies and institutions will get preference. Practical experience of using relevant software in related area is essential.
  3. Assistant Registrar is responsible for the management and supervision of the operations of the Admissions and Registration, Articulation. Assessment Service and Information Services Units within the Registrar's Office. The Assistant Registrar-Records & Registration develops and implements policies and procedures for delivery of quality registration and other student support services, produces the class schedule, and maintains numerous data tables and systems. In addition, the Assistant Registrar contributes to the general operation of the Office as a senior management team member.
 Remuneration: Remuneration is commensurate with experience and skills.
Age limit: Preferably below 40-50 years.
