Jessore University of Science and Technology is a renowned government
university in Bangladesh. It is financed by the Bangladesh government. It is the first public university in Jessore. It is founded in 25 January in the year of 2007. This university opens few vacancy for the Bangladeshi
Nationals.
The vacant posts are Professor/Associate Professor in the department of Agro Product Processing Technology, Accounting and Information System and Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the department of Agro Product Processing Technology, Accounting and Information System, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
The total number of vacant position is 07 (seven).
The required educational qualifications and experience are given below:
Professor:
1. The candidates should have first class or equivalent CGPA either in B.Sc (Honors)/M.Sc or B.Sc Engineering/M.Sc Engineering or equivalent degree in the relevant discipline.
2. He/she should have PhD or equivalent degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
3. He/she should have 12 (twelve) years teaching/research experience from a recognized Institution (Government or Autonomous) of which 4 (four) years in active teaching in the post of Assistant Professor/equivalent post and/or above of which at least 3 (three) years must be in the post of Associate Professor.
4. He/She should have at least 12 (twelve) publications in the field of specialization in a reputed international standard journal of which 05 (five) publications as Associate Professor.
Associate Professor:
1. The candidates should have first class or equivalent CGPA either in B.Sc (Honors)/M.Sc or B.Sc Engineering/M.Sc Engineering or equivalent degree in the relevant discipline.
2. M. Phil or equivalent degree holder candidates should have 12 (twelve) years teaching/research experience from a recognized Institution (Government or Autonomous) of which 6 (six) years in active teaching in the post of Assistant Professor/equivalent research position with at least 5 (five) publications of which 4 (four) publications as Assistant Professor.
3. Ph.D or equivalent degree holder candidates should have 7 (seven) years teaching/research experience from a recognized Institution (Government or Autonomous) of which 3 (three) years in active teaching in the post of Assistant Professor/equivalent research position with at least 5 (five) publications of which 4 (four) publications as Assistant Professor.
4. The candidates who have obtained B.Sc Eng./B. Eng./Equivalent degree or M. Sc. Eng./M. Eng./Equivalent degree, he/she should have 12 (twelve) years teaching/research experience from a recognized Institution (Government or Autonomous) of which 7 (seven) years in active teaching in the post of Assistant Professor/equivalent research position with at least 5 (five) publications of which 4 (four) publications as Assistant Professor.
5. The candidates who have obtained B.Sc. Eng./B.Eng./Equivalent degree or M.Sc. Eng./M. Eng./Equivalent degree with a Ph.D or equivalent degree, he/she should have 7 (seven) years teaching/research experience from a recognized Institution (Government or Autonomous) of which 3 (three) years in active teaching in the post of Assistant Professor/equivalent research position with at least 5 (five) publications of which 4 (four) publications as Assistant Professor.
Assistant Professor:
1. The candidates who have obtained Master’s or equivalent degree with First Class or equivalent CGPA both in Master’s and B.Sc. (Hons.) degree, he/she should have 03 (three) years teaching/research experience from a recognized Institution (Government or Autonomous) of which at least 02 (two) years of active teaching as a lecturer/equivalent post in a degree awarding University/Institution with at least 01 (one) publication.
2. The candidates who have obtained Master’s or equivalent degree with First Class or equivalent CGPA both in Master’s and B.Sc. (Hons.) degree and an M.Phil or equivalent degrees, he/she should have 02 (two) years teaching/research experience from a recognized Institution (Government or Autonomous) of which at least 01 (one) year active teaching experience as a lecturer in a degree awarding University/Institute with at least 01 (one) publication.
3. The candidates who have obtained Master’s or equivalent degree with First Class or equivalent CGPA both in Master’s and B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in the relevant branch and a Ph.D or equivalent degree, he/she should have 01 (one) year active teaching experience as a lecturer with at least 01 (one) publication.
4. The candidates who have obtained minimum 3.5 (in the scale of 4.0) or First Class in B. Sc Eng./B. Eng. or equivalent degree, he/she should have 4 (four) years of teaching/research experience from a recognized Institution (Government or Autonomous) of which at least 02 (two) years active teaching experience as a lecturer/equivalent post in a degree awarding University/Institution with at least 1(one) publication.
5. The candidates who have obtained minimum 3.5 (in the scale of 4.0) or First Class in both B. Sc Eng./B. Eng. or equivalent degree and M. Sc. Eng. or equivalent degree, he/she should have 3(three) years teaching/research experience from a recognized Institution (Government or Autonomous) of which at least 02 (two) years active teaching experience as a lecturer/equivalent post in a degree awarding University/ Institution with at least 1(one) publication.
6. The candidates who have obtained minimum 3.5 (in the scale of 4.0) or First Class in both B.Sc. Eng./B. Eng. or equivalent degree and M. Sc. Eng./M. Eng. or equivalent degree with a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, he/she should have 1(one) year teaching experience as a lecturer in a degree awarding University/ Institution with at least 1(one) publication.
Note: In extra ordinary meritorious cases one of the above qualifications may be relaxed but third class/CGPA below 2.0 (in the scale of 4.0) 2.5 (in the scale of 5.0) will not be considered.
